Tell us a bit about your experience before the London School of Digital Marketing:
I had recently been promoted to a senior marketing position after making my first steps in the marketing profession prior to attending the London School of Digital Marketing. I had just over a year and a half of experience in the SaaS industry, with a strong focus on B2B marketing.
What influenced your decision to study Digital Marketing?
I felt like I lacked the theoretical knowledge and foundations that would allow me to advance as a marketing professional while also putting my existing skills to use. Because digital marketing is so important to our strategy, I was looking for a course that would cover all of the fundamentals of the subject so that I could gain a thorough understanding of the entire concept rather than just a fraction of it.
How interactive was the Class/Workshop and what did you enjoy the most?
I’ve signed up for online sessions, so I was naturally a little bit concerned about how interactive the sessions would be. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Every session was extremely hands-on, designed to be both challenging and engaging, with the goal of encouraging the development of practical skills. Instead of relying on slides and powerpoints, the sessions focused on activities based on real-life scenarios.
What I liked best about the sessions was how practical they were. All of the modules were discussed using real-life scenarios as well as actual industrys’ tools and programmes, making the information easier to understand and apply.
Is there any advice you would give to new students at London School of Digital Marketing?
Behave like you know absolutely nothing 🙂
Even if you are an experienced professional, use the time you are given to its full potential. Stay engaged, actively participate in the sessions and ask questions. Marriott is extremely knowledgeable, so take advantage of this opportunity!
